If you are a new employee at Aalborg University (AAU), you can get an introduction to the most used IT-systems and services on this page. This is intended for all employees regardless of your job position at AAU.

1. In connection with your employment at Aalborg University, we have created an AAU-Account for you, which includes an AAU-Username and an AAU-Mail. Here you must pay attention to what these can be used for.  

2. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is used to secure your account against improper use. Today, MFA is used on most online services, and it follows the same principles you know from using MitID.  

3. As mentioned under point 1, you have received an AAU-Mail in connection with your employment. To be able to access it, you must type webmail.aau.dk via a browser, otherwise you have the option of setting it up on various mobile devices - Read the instructions here

4. Have you forgotten your password, do you need to change your password, have you not received an access or has your account been locked? You can unlock your account or change your password here

5. Access to the Wi-Fi is available for all employees and students at AAU. You can set up our wireless network Eduroam on your computer and other devices. 

6. Have you remembered to order your AAUCard? Your AAUCard has many functions and will thus be important for you as an employee at AAU.

7. Set up Follow-You print on your computer. Using Follow-You print allows you to send the documents to a server, after which you can go to any printer at AAU and print out the documents.
