Creating a course folder in Panopto

• Click on the Panopto icon or Course setting in the Panopto block

Once you have clicked on this, a folder with the same name as the course will automatically be created in Panopto

• • As a teacher, you are both Creator and Publisher of the folder
  • The students are the Viewer
  • Your videos can be viewed by you and the students, but the students cannot put anything in the folder
  • Rights are set automatically
  • Recordings you have in the folder my folder in Panopto are private and cannot be viewed by students, even if you have linked to them

A video in Panopto is automatically made invisible if it is not viewed for 2 years, and deleted if it is not viewed for 3 years
