Others
By default, the cache exchange mode is activated in Outlook. Which indicate that some of your messages and the global address list is saved directly on your computer, which makes it easier for Outlook to retrieve the information quicker.
The cache can sometimes hinder the performance of Outlook. The program will be slower to process changes in the global address list or will be unable to find certain emails when you search for them. If you are experiencing any of these issues, it often helps to turn off the Cached Exchange Mode.
- Open Outlook
- Choose Files
- Click on Account settings
- Click on Account settings again
- Double click on your AAU-Mail
- Under offline settings, the checkbox is usually already sat, but you need to slide the slider to the right toward All
- After that you need to remove the check mark from Use Cached Exchange Mode
- Click Next
- Click Done
