If you have a person who does not have an AAU username to be able to access a course, guest access to the course must be activated.

It is only possible to open for a general guest access and not access for a specific guest.

As a teacher, you cannot do this yourself, so you must therefore create a case on the Serviceportalen, with the following information:

The name of the course
The course ID (which is the direct link to the course that you find in the browser's address field)
and specify a password the guests must use

NOTE: Guests can only see the front page of the course and not all other courses offered.

Please note: If there are Panopto videos in the course, the creator of the video must ensure that the rights on the Panopto server are set to "Public", otherwise guests will not be able to see them.

When a course has guest, you need to send an email to the guests with the following information:

The name of the course
A direct link to the course, e.g. moodle.aau.dk/course/view...../kursus-id
A links to guide where they can see how to log in as a guest (see the tab How to log in as a guest)
Inform the guest that they can view the course, but not write or retrieve data from the course
and indicate which password the guests must use if you have set a password
