Below you will find guides that can help you in the usage of digital tools for online lessons and meetings – for example AAU video conference systems, MS Teams, and AAU Zoom.
The content is based on best practice of standard equipment at AAU.
During the last couple of years, we have invested in renewal and streamlining of IT equipment in all locations administered by ITS. The goal is to have equipment that supports digitalization of lessons and meeting activities, and to create recognizability across all locations for our users. ITS offers support, guides, and mini course in the usage hereof.

Target group
Educators or TAP, who use AAU's auditoriums.
Content of the course
Individual hands-on training in the use of AV equipment in an auditorium. The course will revolve around your specific needs, whether you use auditoriums for lessons or other activities.
Examples of subjects we can cover:
- Touch panels
- Projectors
- Microphones
- Document cameras
- Touch screens
- Choice of adapters
In terms of educational use, it can be arranged for a learning consultant from Center for Digitally Supported Learning (CDUL) to participate in the mini course. This way the content of the mini course will also be covering pedagogy and didactics.
You will obtain
- Practical knowledge on how to use the technology available in auditoriums
- Knowledge on best practices in the use of AV to improve the quality of your lessons/presentations

There are none - you only need to have the will to learn something new

Educators who with students in groups or groups in between in digitalized lessons.
The Active Learning Spaces are also ideal to use for conducting workshops.

Educators and TAP personnel that might need to host meetings, exams, lessons, or Ph.D. defenses with participants partly in an AAU location with a videoconference system, and partly online via MS Teams or AAU Zoom.
Content of the course
Individual hands-on training in the use of AV equipment between one or more meeting rooms, or distance learning rooms, with an AAU videoconference system, and online participants via MS Teams or AAU Zoom, on a computer or mobile device.
In terms of educational use, it can be arranged for a learning consultant from Center for Digitally Supported Learning (CDUL) to participate in the mini course. This way the content of the mini course will also be covering pedagogy and didactics.
The course will revolve around your specific needs and can cover:

- Creating a MS Teams or AAU Zoom meeting
You will obtain

Content of the course
Individual hands-on training in the use of Moodle.
The course will be customized to the scenarios in which you will be using Moodle.
Examples of subjects we can cover:
- What can I do as an educator/secretary in a Moodle room?
- Introduction to different activities and resources that can be used in a Moodle room
- Interfaces for other systems
You will obtain
- The ability to create simple activities and resources in a Moodle course
- Import course material from other Moodle courses
- Connect colleagues to Moodle rooms
- Find information on how to begin doing other activities and use other resources

- You are comfortable using your computer
- You have an AAU-Username

In terms of educational use, it can be arranged for a learning consultant from Center for Digitally Supported Learning (CDUL) to participate in the mini course. This way the content of the mini course will also be covering pedagogy and didactics.
You will obtain
- Knowledge on how to create a MS Teams or AAU Zoom online meeting
- Knowledge on best practice in the use of MS Teams or AAU Zoom for online meetings between AAU employees, students, and external participants.

Individual hands-on training in the use of Panopto. We will customize the course to your specific use cases and the possibilities within Panopto:
- Recording a video
- Uploading a video
- Distribute a video
You will obtain
- Knowledge on how to record a video
- Knowledge on how to record a PowerPoint/KeyNote presentation with speak over
- Knowledge on how to connect a Panopto video to a Moodle course
- Knowledge on general distribution of Panopto videos

- You are comfortable using your computer
