Our work
The goal of the work we do in AAUtomation is to make it easier for our colleagues around Aalborg University to carry out their daily work tasks. While we eliminate unnecessary backlogs and bottlenecks in the work processes, we also help ensure higher data quality, better compliance with the law and deadlines, and we ensure fewer double registrations of data. We eliminate trivial and boring tasks from the daily work life, which creates time for new and exciting tasks.
When should I automate a process?
In all cases, we would like to have a dialogue with you regarding the specific process to determine whether a full or partial automation is the best fit. Generally, we can automate your process if it fits one of the following scenarios:
- Processes with a high degree of repetition - e.g., updating or adding data in systems from other systems, forms, e-mails, etc.
- Processes with high requirements for compliance with standards - e.g., compliance with quality, law, and deadlines.
- Processes with fluctuating demand - e.g., tasks that always occur at certain times of the year (study admission, study start, exams, etc.)
- Rule-based processes - e.g., tasks that contain procedures for the execution of the task.
