Guests in AAU Zoom

External participants in an AAU Zoom meeting

In an AAU Zoom meeting, external participants are given "Guest" status.

Please note that an AAU user may be granted a "Guest" status if the user is not properly logged into the zoom app.

Log in to Zoom App and AAU ZOOM portal   

External do not have access to the AAU Zoom-portal “aaudk.zoom.us”.

Externals can:

  • Invite to a Zoom meeting but without an AAU Zoom host status.
  • Be selected as Host by the original host.
  • Be selected as Co-host by the original host.
  • Invite other participants during a meeting if the host has enabled the feature before the meeting.
  • Use chat, video, and file sharing if the host has enabled the feature before the meeting.

 

Externals cannot:

  • Be selected as ”Alternative host.”
  • Start an AAU Zoom meeting created by the host.
